FAQs

How many guests can your space accommodate?

Watson-Curtze Mansion: up to 150 indoors and 350 outdoors

Yellow House Girard, PA: up to 350

President’s Room: up to 40

 What is prohibited during my event?

Sparklers indoors/outdoors, bubbles, dropped/tossed flower petals, confetti indoors/outside, open-flame tapered candles, popcorn, balloons, and open flames are all prohibited at our campus.

 Can anything be hung up?

We ask that nothing be hung on our walls. Adhesives and nails of any kind are prohibited. Signage is allowed and may be placed on a free-standing easel. Please confirm with HHC staff about decorations.

What time does my event have to end?

Watson-Curtze Mansion & Wood-Morrison House: 10 p.m.

Yellow House – Girard: 10 p.m.

Do you have a preferred catering and vending list?

The Hagen History Center requires all private events to utilize one of our three catering partners for food and beverage service. These include Sabella’s and Make It Fabulous.

Can I take pictures in Museum galleries?

Yes, all of our galleries will be open and available to you and your guests on the day of your event! We love to see your special photos!

What about storage for my event?

All items that come into the museum must leave on the same day. Early and late arrangements can be made with HHC staff at an additional cost.

How does parking work?

All of our sites offer both off-street and on-street parking.
